Service Providers

Synapser uses third-party service providers to operate and support the app and website. Some providers are necessary to provide the Services, while others process Personal Data only when you enable or use specific features.

Google Cloud

  • Processing activity: Cloud hosting, storage, and the Synapser backend database.
  • Processing location: Core Synapser infrastructure and primary storage are in the European Union. Some supporting services may process data in other locations.

Google Workspace

  • Processing activity: Company email and correspondence, including support requests, illegal-content reports, review decisions, and related challenges.
  • Processing location: Processing may occur in the European Union, the United States, or other Google locations.

Firebase

  • Processing activity: Authentication, app security, push notifications, remote feature configuration, crash and performance monitoring, and app analytics where enabled.
  • Processing location: Processing may occur in the European Union, the United States, or other Google locations.

Cloudflare

  • Processing activity: Domain registration, DNS, website hosting and delivery, network and application security, firewall protection, and edge services. Cloudflare may process technical information relating to website visitors and App users, such as IP addresses and request or traffic metadata, and, where applicable, information submitted through website forms, such as the email address provided when subscribing to our newsletter.
  • Processing location: The global Cloudflare network, including the European Union and the United States.

Google Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform

  • Processing activity: Generative AI provider for AI Suggestions and order tracking, each only when you enable that feature.
  • Processing location: Processing may occur in the European Union, the United States, or other supported Google Cloud locations.

OpenAI

  • Processing activity: Generative AI provider for AI Suggestions and order tracking, each only when you enable that feature.
  • Processing location: Processing may occur in the European Union, the United States, or other locations.

Ship24

  • Processing activity: Optional parcel tracking across supported carriers worldwide. Synapser sends a tracking number and opaque identifier and, when available, the carrier, shipping date and destination country. Email bodies, recipient names and street addresses, item summaries and payment details are not sent to Ship24.
  • Processing location: International carrier tracking can involve processing outside the European Economic Area, subject to the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics

  • Processing activity: Website analytics when you consent to analytics.
  • Processing location: Processing may occur in the European Union, the United States, or other Google locations.

Loops

  • Processing activity: Service and transactional email delivery and, where you have opted in, marketing communications.
  • Processing location: The United States and other locations where Loops or its service providers operate.

Certain Apple platform services and third-party services or integrations you choose to connect to Synapser are described separately in our Privacy Policy.
