Synapser uses third-party service providers to operate and support the app and website. Some providers are necessary to provide the Services, while others process Personal Data only when you enable or use specific features.

Google Cloud

  • Processing activity: Cloud hosting, storage, and the Synapser backend database.
  • Processing location: Core Synapser infrastructure and primary storage are in the European Union. Some supporting services may process data in other locations.

Firebase

  • Processing activity: Authentication, app security, push notifications, crash and performance monitoring, and app analytics where enabled.
  • Processing location: Processing may occur in the European Union, the United States, or other Google locations.

Cloudflare

  • Processing activity: Domain registration, DNS, website hosting and delivery, network security and firewall protection, and edge computing services such as the newsletter sign-up form on our website. Cloudflare processes technical information about website visitors, such as IP addresses and request metadata, and the email address you submit when you subscribe to our newsletter on the website.
  • Processing location: The global Cloudflare network, including the European Union and the United States.

Google Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform

  • Processing activity: Generative AI provider for AI Suggestions when you enable AI features.
  • Processing location: Processing may occur in the European Union, the United States, or other supported Google Cloud locations.

OpenAI

  • Processing activity: Generative AI provider for AI Suggestions when you enable AI features.
  • Processing location: Processing may occur in the European Union, the United States, or other locations.

Google Analytics

  • Processing activity: Website analytics when you consent to analytics.
  • Processing location: Processing may occur in the European Union, the United States, or other Google locations.

Loops

  • Processing activity: Service and transactional email delivery and, where you have opted in, marketing communications.
  • Processing location: The United States and other locations where Loops or its service providers operate.
